Short Synopsis: The issue of sustainable living, pollution and the impact of climate change on the environment are at the front burner of social and political discourse. According to Albert Einstein, “ a new type of thinking is essential, if mankind is to survive and move to higher levels”. Project Space Lagos in a one-week intensive, experimental and interdisciplinary residency project has assembled artists who would through their practices explore and bring fresh perspectives to these challenges with focus on the city of Lagos and its inhabitants. The participating artists are tasked with presenting processes, experiences, and initiating conversations that could stimulate a rethink, imagination and consciousness in all of us on these topical environmental issues. It is an opportunity for people to share, communicate and spend exciting moments together.
